Score Analysis
AI Investment Thesis
SLGC Berhad is overvalued: its P/B of 4.27 is higher than 92% of Malaysia-listed Consumer Cyclical peers and EV/EBITDA of 13.7 higher than 81%, though P/S of 0.41 is lower than 70%.
Its 85.9% ROE and 4.32% margin dwarf sector averages, but that ROE reflects a thin equity base post-listing rather than durable returns on capital.
The decisive event was the 29 October 2026 award of a RM50.24 million EPC contract from ALH Construction, its first win after the 6 October ACE Market debut.
